Maddie Interdonato (she/her) joined PlanRVA in 2025 as the Emergency Management Alliance Program Specialist. In her role, she supports a region-wide coalition of Emergency Management professionals, facilitating collaboration across the 26 localities they represent. With experience working with federal, state, and local partners, she has developed a strong ability to create effective systems, streamline processes, and enhance communication. She is excited to support the Alliance to ensure that localities are equipped with the tools and resources needed to respond effectively to emergencies.

Maddie graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016 with a B.S. in Anthropology, and has been working with conservation and youth serving non-profits ever since. With a deep appreciation for public service, she looks forward to contributing to a safer and more connected region.

In her free time, she loves spending time outside on her feet or on two wheels. Her passions include music, fiber arts, and learning about the world around her.
