Kristin Hott joined PlanRVA in 2024 as the Engagement Coordinator, where she applies her expertise in community engagement, facilitation, and communications to support each program area of the organization. With a focus on equitable access to information and enhancing public participation across the commission's nine localities, she coordinates with diverse groups, facilitates discussions, and links new information to public engagement opportunities. Passionate about building relationships and fostering inclusion, she enjoys creating spaces where people feel heard.

She did her undergraduate work at UVA and VCU and earned a Master’s in Adult Learning/Literacy from VCU. She recently achieved SHRM-CP certification and continually seeks to develop her "people power" professional skills.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys sewing, thrifting, and outdoor live music. She’s always building her vinyl record collection, and her favorite restaurant is a tie! between Ruang Tong and Little Nickel, both on Richmond's Southside.
