Strengthening the Region Through Collaboration

PlanRVA is a regional convener, planning agency and provider of essential services to the localities of the Richmond Region.

We are the government entity comprising nine local governments for the purpose of encouraging collaboration to address regionally significant issues and opportunities.

Also known as the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission (RRPDC), we encompass the localities of Ashland, Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan and Richmond.
