Mark joined PlanRVA in 2019 and serves as the Director of Data & Technology. In this role, Mark administers technology including GIS, hardware, software and the website and coordinates with IT vendors. He also manages data, research and planning projects that don't fall under PlanRVA’s main program areas of transportation, environment and emergency management. Mark’s favorite part about working at PlanRVA is the ability to be involved with several different roles and projects at the same time.

In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing guitar and loves listening to the Beatles and Surf music. He also enjoys playing volleyball, hiking and watching comedy films. Mark’s favorite place to visit in Richmond is Belle Isle, because there is so much to do and see. He has two sons, one in college and one in high school.

Mark received his MURP & GIS certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University.
