Rashaunda joined the PlanRVA team as a Community Engagement Manager and Title VI Coordinator in 2021. She is responsible for leading community engagement and outreach efforts across the following program areas: Transportation, Emergency Preparedness, Environment and Community Development. She has the privilege of providing complex information in a comprehensible way to improve the quality of life across the Richmond region.

Rashaunda enjoys spending time with her family, including her wife Tracy, son Jabari, new baby Maddox and their fur babies. Her other hobbies include playing sports, coaching youth athletics and rewatching The Office.

Rashaunda has her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Administration from James Madison University and a master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from UNC Chapel Hill.
